HTC releases cheaper blockchain phone Exodus 1s
HTC has released the previously announced Exodus 1s, a blockchain phone that can function as a full node. Users can store cryptocoins on a built-in wallet and do not need an exchange to receive and send them.
The smartphone is a cheaper version of the first Exodus smartphone that HTC has released. This Exodus 1s can be purchased via the HTC website, and costs 219 euros. The manufacturer promises to send the smartphone within a month after receiving the payment.
The main feature of the Exodus 1s is that it works as a blockchain smartphone. The Exodus 1s has support for the Zion cryptocurrency wallet, which was developed by HTC itself. Here, users can store and send bitcoin, ether and litecoin, among other things. There is therefore no need to seek help from an exchange.
HTC already announced the blockchain smartphone in May, but then little was known about the components used. It is now clear that the Snapdragon 435 is used as a processor, accompanied by 4GB of ram. The screen has a diagonal of 5.7 “with full HD resolution. There is a 13-megapixel camera on both the front and back.
