HTC postpones the release of its first wearable again. The HTC Grip should have been released this summer, but the Taiwanese company previously pushed the release to this fall. Now HTC’s first wearable won’t be released until early next year.

It is not clear, however, whether that first wearable will be the Grip. In a statement to Android fan site Phandroid, HTC does not name the Grip announced in March, raising the suspicion that the manufacturer has scrapped the fitness tracker in favor of other products. HTC has not yet confirmed that.

It is the second postponement for the first wearable that HTC is making in collaboration with fitness brand Under Armour. The Grip was supposed to be released this summer, but the manufacturer has already moved that after feedback from testers. HTC has not yet given an exact date on which the first wearable will be released.

In addition, the manufacturer has announced a shift in management from Europe, Africa and the Middle East. One of the shifts is taking place in the Benelux. Telecom site AllAboutPhones reports that Mark Moons, director Western Europe, is leaving. Moons has worked for the Taiwanese smartphone maker for nine years.
