Smartphone manufacturer HTC has announced that its top model will receive the update to Android 7.0 Nougat before the end of the year. The HTC One M9 and A9 will also receive an update to the latest Android version, but it is not yet clear when that will come.

HTC promised earlier that the update would come for the three devices, but did not announce any data yet. Now the smartphone maker shows an image on Facebook stating that it will start pushing the update to the HTC 10 in the fourth quarter. Then it is the turn of the HTC One M9, followed by the One A9.

HTC will not go into details about when the devices from last year will receive the update. Android 7.0 was released on Monday and is currently only available for Google’s Nexus devices. On September 6, the first new smartphone with the OS will be announced: the LG V20. Sony announced earlier this week that the Z3+ and newer top models will receive the update, but when that will happen is still unclear.
