HTC 10 and One M9 get an update to Android Nougat in two weeks
HTC says that its top models from 2016 and 2015 in Europe will receive an update to Android Nougat within two weeks. It is probably version 7.0, which was previously released in the United States for the HTC 10.
Graham Wheeler, HTC’s European Branch Product and Service Director confirms the arrival of the Nougat update. The update should be available within two weeks for devices that have been purchased separately. HTC also says it is working with carriers to quickly release the update for phones that carriers have provided.
Both the HTC 10 and the HTC One M9 will receive the update to Android Nougat within two weeks. HTC will also provide the One A9 with an update to the new operating system, but it is not yet known when it will be available in Europe. Other HTC models will not receive an update. In the US, HTC started releasing Android 7.0 for the HTC 10 in November last year.
