HP unveils 8″ tablet with optional 10″ keyboard
HP has announced an 8″ tablet that the company offers with an optional 10″ keyboard. The keyboard housing has a recess in which the entire tablet fits so that you can easily take it with you.
The tablet has an 8″ LCD with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and runs on an Intel Atom x5-Z8300: a quad-core Cherry Trail processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.4-1.8GHz. The HD Graphics GPU runs maximum at 500MHz.The soc has 2GB of ddr3l memory.
The Windows 10 device is 7.7mm thick and weighs around 360 grams. HP supplies the tablet with a stylus, which contains a button with which users can start Instant Note. The keyboard has a travel of 1.5 mm, the same as the keyboards of expensive HP laptops, the manufacturer claims. HP claims that the tablet has a battery life of just over six hours.
The Envy 8 Note will be released in Europe in November for a price starting at 599 euros. It’s probably with a keyboard. In the United States, there is a variant with a price of $329 without a keyboard, while the variant with a keyboard costs $429.
