HP puts video of laptop with Android online

HP has put a promotional video of its first laptop with Android online. The laptop has a 14-inch screen with a full-HD resolution and runs on an undisclosed quad-core processor from Nvidia.

The HP Slatebook 14 is featured on the manufacturer’s video page. The video shows a laptop with yellow accents and a design that is around two centimeters thick. The laptop runs on Android 4.2, Notebook Italia writes. Except for the video, there is no information on HP’s own site about the laptop.

The laptop runs on an ARM processor from Nvidia, an undisclosed quad-core soc. HP’s previous Slatebook X2 ran on a Tegra 4, but that convertible was launched a year ago. Nvidia has now almost finished the successor under the name Tegra K1.

The laptop has Beats Audio speakers, a few full-size USB ports and a SIM card input. When the Slatebook should be released and how much it should cost is still unknown.
