HP Announces ZBook Fury G9 Mobile Workstation with Alder Lake-HX

HP is adding two mobile workstations to its ZBook line. The Fury G9 and the Studio G9 have a 16″ screen and are available in different configurations. HP supplies the Fury G9 with an Intel Alder Lake-HX processor and the Studio G9 with an OLED screen.

HP supplies the ZBook Fury G9 with Core i5, Core i7 and Core i9 processors of the Alder Lake-HX generation. Intel introduced this generation last week and its flagship model, the Core i9 12950HX, has eight P and eight E cores. The workstation has a 16″ screen and in the most extensive configuration this is an IPS screen of 120Hz with a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels. The most powerful video card with which HP equips the laptop is the RTX A5500 from Nvidia, but there are also models with a Radeon Pro accelerator.Weight is 2.44kg and this model has a 95Wh battery.

The ZBook Studio G9 is a lot lighter at 1.73kg as standard, but this weight can vary according to the configuration according to the manufacturer. This workstation will be available with a Core i9-12900HK and an i7-12700H, and the video card is an RTX A5500 or RTX 3080 Ti, in combination with Intel’s Iris Xe. The battery capacity is 86Wh and one of the screen options is an OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 3840×2400 pixels.

HP expects to be able to deliver both workstations from June, but the company has not yet announced prices.
