Honor reveals 9X and 9X Pro specs
Honor has unveiled the 9X and 9X Pro. The devices are the first to be released in China and cost between 182 and 313 euros. For that money, consumers get a device with a pop-up front camera and a HiSilicon Kirin 810 octacore.
The two models of the Huawei subsidiary are similar in appearance and dimensions, but differ on the inside in some important fronts. The 7nm Kirin 810 of the Pro has, according to Android Authority, firstly, additional water cooling. Furthermore, the non-Pro has 4 or 6 GB of RAM and the Pro has 8 GB of RAM. The storage memory follows that trend with 64 or 128GB and 128 or 256GB, respectively. This can be expanded with a micro-SD card of up to 512GB.
Furthermore, it seems that the phones are the same. The LCD display has a diagonal of 6.59″ and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The housing is 163.1 mm long and 77.2 mm wide. The rear camera has a 48 megapixel sensor and the front 16 megapixel one. The devices have a USB-c port, a headphone jack input, a 4000mAh battery with charging at 5V/2A and a fingerprint scanner on the side.
The Honor 9X will soon be available in blue, black and red and the 9X Pro in black and purple. The device will be available in China on July 30. They may be coming to the rest of the world in the months after that, but it’s unknown when that would be and how much the price would increase.
