Honor has presented the Magic Vs2, a slightly cheaper and less thin variant of its Magic V2 phone released a few months ago. The foldable smartphone has an older SoC and less good cameras.

The phone is 10.7mm thick, where the V2 is 9.9mm thick. The Magic Vs2 is 15.7cm long and 7.4cm wide when closed, with a weight of 229g. The screen on the outside is a 6.43″ OLED screen with 2376×1060 pixels. That’s a ratio of about 20.2:9, slightly longer than most smartphones. On the inside is an almost square 7.92″ OLED screen with 2344×2156 pixels. Both screens have a 120Hz refresh rate.

Of all the cameras, only the camera with telephoto lens is the same: a 20-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization and 2.5x magnification compared to the primary sensor. The primary 50-megapixel camera does not have optical stabilization. There is also a 12-megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle lens. The SoC is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from last year, compared to a Gen 2 from the Magic V2. . The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh and can be charged at 66W. The price is also considerably lower. While the Magic V2 starts at 8999 yuan, the Vs 2 starts at 6999 yuan. That is currently approximately 923 euros.
