Honor announces the Honor 10 Lite

Honor has announced the Honor 10 Lite without much publicity. The mainstream smartphone with a striking back has a 6.2 “screen and a Kirin 710 processor.

The resolution of the 6.2″ LCD is 1080×2340 pixels, so there is an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a pixel density of 415ppi. In the top center is a small notch for the 24-megapixel front camera. the rear has two cameras, one with a 13-megapixel f/1.8 sensor and a secondary 2-megapixel model, and the fingerprint scanner is also on the back.

The processor is the Kirin 710, an octacore with four Cortex-A73 cores at 2.2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores with a clock speed of 1.7GHz. The GPU of the soc is the ARM Mali G51 MP4. Honor comes with variants with 4GB and 6GB and with 64GB and 128GB storage memory, which can be supplemented with a microSD card. Furthermore, the smartphone has a 3.5mm audio jack and a battery capacity of 3400mAh. There is also support for fast charging via the USB-C connection.

Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor focuses mainly on young people and just like the Honor 10, which the company introduced in May, the smartphone should distinguish itself with a striking reflective back. The smartphone will be available in blue, red, black and white. For now, the Honor 10 Lite is only on the Chinese site, for a price of 1399 yuan. That has been converted and with VAT 214 euros, but whether a comparable price will also be used in Europe is unknown.
