Hollow Knight Silksong Gets New Trailer And Coming To Game Pass Upon Release
Hollow Knight: Silksong, the sequel to the action platformer Hollow Knight, is coming to Xbox consoles and will be available through Xbox Game Pass upon release. Developer Team Cherry announced this. The studio is also showing a new trailer for the first time in more than two years.
Team Cherry will announce at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase that Silksong will be available for Xbox consoles and PCs via Game Pass. The title will also be available on Steam, GOG, the Humble Store and Nintendo Switch.
Hollow Knight: Silksong is a sequel to Hollow Knight, a Metroidvania-esque 2D action platformer. Silksong was initially intended as DLC for the original, but was later disconnected as a standalone game. The game follows Hornet, who also played a big part in the first part. Silksong was announced at E3 2019, but little information about the game has been released since then.
The studio is still not sharing a release date, but did show new gameplay footage during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Microsoft states that all titles shown during that presentation will be released in the next twelve months. The game should therefore be released in the first half of 2023 at the latest.
