Hollandsnieuwe starts offering 4g subscriptions
The virtual provider hollandsnieuwe has started offering 4g subscriptions through the Vodafone network. It concerns subscriptions with a download speed of 150Mbit/s with 50Mbit/s upload. At least a sim-only 500 subscription is required for 4g.
There are different forms to choose from, the provider’s site states. There are sim-only plans with data bundles of 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000MB. These limits also apply to the number of text messages or call minutes in a combined credit. Existing customers, including those with an 800, 1200, or 1800 subscription, can enable 4g via the provider’s website.
With the subscriptions up to and including the 1200 variant, adding 4g currently costs two euros per month, with the other subscriptions it is one euro. The virtual provider makes no mention of 4G calling; parent company Vodafone started switching customers to this technology in November.
