HMD presents first phones with Nokia license

Finnish HMD has announced its first Nokia phones. The Nokia 150 and 150 Dual SIM are dumbphones that have to be sold for $ 26 excluding VAT. These are the first Nokia phones released by the Finnish start-up.

The devices will have a 2.4″ screen with a resolution of 240 by 320 pixels and will run on the ‘Series 30+’ operating system. The 1020mAh battery must be able to stand by for a month and a talk time of 22 hours There is also a VGA camera, Bluetooth support and space for a micro SD card.Music can be played via FM radio and MP3 support.

Earlier this month, the Finnish company HMD signed an agreement with Microsoft for the use of the well-known brand name Nokia. The license runs for ten years and frees the company to produce smartphones, tablets and regular phones under the Nokia brand. The board of HMD mainly consists of former employees of Nokia and Microsoft Mobile. Nothing is known about further future phones from HMD and Nokia.
