HMD postpones Android 11 upgrade for several Nokia smartphones
Finnish smartphone maker HMD has postponed the Android 11 upgrade for several Nokia smartphones. Former top model 9 PureView, among others, will now receive the upgrade later than the manufacturer had first planned.
In addition, the Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 will receive the upgrade later than the original schedule, according to the new roadmap. The 6.2, 7.2 and 9 PureView will now receive the upgrade in the summer, where it was first planned for spring or earlier. Before the end of June, the upgrade should be released for the 1 Plus, 1.3, 1.4, 2.4, 3.4, 5.3 and 5.4.
In particular, the upgrade of the 5.3 from 2019 has been delayed, because that upgrade was planned for the end of last year. The plan is from October last year. Android 11 was released last fall, but many manufacturers have not completed the upgrade until later.
