Hitman HD Enhanced Collection Releases January 11 For Xbox One And PS4
Io Interactive has announced that Hitman HD Enhanced Collection will be available on January 11 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The release includes 4k remasters of Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution.
Io Interactive reports that both remasters support 4k resolution and 60 frames per second. The lighting effects have also been improved according to the development studio, as well as the shadows and textures. Furthermore, the way of navigating and moving around the world has been improved, which should lead to a smoother gaming experience.
Hitman HD Enhanced Collection also supports supersampling, which can be especially important for users with a TV that doesn’t go beyond 1080p in resolution. With supersampling, images are rendered at a higher resolution and then scaled back to a lower resolution. As a result, for example, lines appear less angular.
Hitman: Blood Money is the fourth installment in the Hitman series and was originally released in 2006 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360 and PC. Hitman: Absolution is the fifth title in the series and was released in 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
