Hitman 3 coming January 2021 for consoles and PC

The Danish developer IO Interactive will release Hitman 3 early next year. The game will be released for current PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as next-gen variants. The game is also coming out for PC.

According to Hakan Abrak, director of IO Interactive, Agent 47 will return in Hitman 3 and the hitman must execute the most intimate and professional contract of his career. The trailer accompanying the announcement shows, among other things, that Agent 47 is in Dubai and climbing a skyscraper there.

This installment brings an end to the World of Assassination trilogy of the recent Hitman games. The game follows on from 2016’s Hitman, which was in fact the sixth Hitman game, and 2018’s Hitman 2. Players will be able to carry progression from Hitman 2 to Hitman 3, and according to Sony, the entire trilogy will be playable within Hitman 3.
