Hitman 2 may be announced on Thursday
Warner Bros. put a logo of Hitman 2 on its website, after which it was quickly taken offline again. That coincides with a teaser on Hitman’s official Twitter account, which shows that more will be announced on Thursday about a presumably new game.
On the Twitter account of the Hitman game series, Io-Interactive has a short teaser posted on which there is not much to see, but that more will be announced on June 7 about probably a new game. The accompanying text shows that Agent 47 has a new target, about which more information will follow on Thursday. It is likely that more will become clear about the game Hitman 2, given the leak of the logo on the website of publisher Warner Bros.
It is still unclear what exactly the game is. Square Enix has released the latest Hitman game in the form of several episodes. The Danish Io Interactive bought the rights to the Hitman series from publisher Square Enix in 2016 and released the first episode for free. For the time being, it is unclear whether the announcement is about a completely standalone game or, for example, a second season with a series of new episodes.
