High Tech Campus Eindhoven announces hub for metaverse innovation
High Tech Campus Eindhoven, or HTCE, announced ‘the first physical metaverse innovation hub in the Benelux’ on Thursday. From February 2024, the hub will offer space to companies involved in spatial computing and immersive technology.
The hub has been named 3EALITY and was officially opened on Thursday, writes HTCE. The 3 in the name stands for ‘the three-dimensional evolution of the Internet and includes all technologies associated with it’. The hub will be located on the ground floor of the former Philips Research building.
“The hub will actively share knowledge by organizing events and initiating educational programs with educational institutions. Office spaces and technical facilities will soon be located in and around a large communal space and coworking spaces, which encourage collaboration,” HTCE writes. The campus has opened other hubs in the past, including the 5G Hub and the AI Innovation Center.
