High on Life shooter from Rick & Morty creator is coming to Xbox and PC in October
Squanch Games, the studio of Rick & Morty creator Justin Roiland, is working on a new sci-fi comedy shooter, High on Life. This game is coming to the Xbox Series consoles, Xbox One and PC in October and will appear on Game Pass upon release.
In High on Life, players follow a high school student who becomes an intergalactic bounty hunter after a cartel of aliens invade Earth. Gamers hunt the aliens, who want to enslave humanity and use them as drugs. In the game, they will visit different planets and locations. Players also receive an arsenal of talking firearms, each with its own personality. According to the creators, Justin Roiland’s voice will “tie the game together.”
Squanch Games previously worked on titles such as Trover Saves the Universe and Accounting VR. The studio announced High on Life during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. The game is coming to Xbox consoles and PC later this year. The game will be available immediately upon release via Xbox Game Pass.
