Hello Games re-releases Joe Danger and Joe Danger Infinity for iOS. The No Man’s Sky developer provides the title with better visuals and support for ProMotion screens with higher frame rates and controllers, among other things.

Hello Games has published Joe Danger and Joe Danger Infinity on the App Store. The company writes that the remasters offer support for iOS 15 and 64-bit. The games will also get better performance and improved graphics quality, ProMotion support and improved support for controllers, Hello Games writes.

Joe Danger and Joe Danger Infinity were released in 2010 and 2012 respectively. They were the first games from Hello Games, the studio that would eventually release No Man’s Sky. Partly due to the introduction of No Man’s Sky, the two games had not been updated for years. As of iOS 11 of 2017, 32-bit apps were no longer supported, which is why both games stopped working on newer iOS devices. The studio received an email about this from the father of a son with an autism spectrum disorder who is crazy about Joe Danger. Hello Games CEO Sean Murray writes that “bringing back to life” Joe Danger was a hobby project of the studio.

The games will be available again on iOS from Thursday and cost 2 euros individually or 3 euros in a bundle. People who already own one or both of the Joe Danger games on iOS will get the new features via a free update.
