A Halo game is coming to arcade halls. Developer 343 Studios is collaborating with Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix, makers of arcade machines. Halo: Fireteam Raven consists of a machine with a huge wide screen for up to four players.

Halo: Fireteam Raven appears to be an on-rails shooter. Players hold a large gun mounted on a stand and use it to aim at enemies on the screen. According to the makers, that wide screen has a diagonal of 130 “and a 4k resolution. However, it seems to be two separate screens. It may be two 65” panels, but the companies do not mention specifications.

The arcade game takes place in the same environment as Halo: Combat Evolved, the first game in the series. According to the announcement, Halo: Fireteam Raven will be an impressive arcade machine. Players can scan a QR code with their phone and link their score on the machine to their identity on the Halo Waypoint website.

The Halo: Fireteam Raven machine is coming to Dave & Busters arcades in the US and Canada this summer.
