Halo amusement park featuring laser and VR games will travel the United States this summer
Between July and September, a touring Halo theme park visits several American cities. The Halo: Discovery Outpost covers an area of approximately 28,000 square meters and contains activities such as laser tag, VR games and an escape room.
The traveling amusement park consists of ten different experiences, including the Ring Experience, which explains the story of the Halo Array to visitors in a dome theater that uses multiple projectors. There is also an escape room that takes place in a Covenant spaceship and the amusement park has a free roaming VR experience.
The Halo: Discovery Outpost lands in Orlando, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston and Anaheim. The amusement park can be visited for a weekend in every city. A ticket to visit the amusement park for one day costs 60 dollars. Interested parties can visit the Outpost for three days for $130. There are also more expensive VIP tickets that give access to the attractions an hour earlier, among other things.
It’s not the first time the Halo universe has stepped outside the virtual world. Last year, the development of a Halo arcade machine was announced. Also, on behalf of Showtime, work is being done on a Halo series, of which at least ten episodes will be made.
