Supergiant Games will release dungeon crawler Hades on iOS ‘sometime in 2024’ as part of Netflix Games. For the mobile port, the developer is working with Secret6. An active subscription to the streaming service is required to play the game.

According to Supergiant Hades is optimized for iPhones starting from iOS 16. Full requirements will be announced at a later date. Due to technical limitations, existing Hades save files cannot be transferred to the smartphone version. Supergiant says it has no plans for an Android version of the game.

Netflix Games has been available since the end of 2021. Netflix subscribers can therefore play a selection of iOS games at no extra cost. Since its release, the offering has grown significantly. The streaming service plans to release forty games on its platform by the end of this year.

Hades was released in 2020 after an early access period for PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch. It was later released for the PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Hades was the first game ever to win a Hugo Award. The exact release date for the iOS version of Hades will be announced at a later date.
