Hackers scrape data from more than 15 million Trello users

Hackers scraped data from project management tool Trello on January 16. Data from approximately 15.1 million users was compromised, including email addresses, names and usernames. According to Trello, there was no unauthorized access.

According to X account HackManac the data is currently offered on the dark web. The data has been added to the Have I Been Pwned database. It says there that the data was obtained by linking data from a publicly accessible resource to email addresses from previous data breaches. It is not clear which publicly accessible resource this concerns. Have I Been Pwnd reports via X that all data captured in January had already been included in their database.
