Gwent card game from The Witcher 3 is available on Steam

CD Projekt Red has released Gwent: The Witcher Card Game on the game platform Steam. The card game, which became known as a minigame in The Witcher 3 game and later released as a separate game, is already available on iOS, Android and via GoG.com.

The Steam version of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game supports cross-play functionality with the other versions of the game, so that players with the Steam version can also compete against players playing the card game on iOS, Android or via GoG.com. Also, the progression and the items are synchronized between the different versions.

The game can also be played for free via Steam, but players can throw money at it to obtain card packs, for example. To help novice players, CD Projekt Red has put together six introductory decks with 25 faction-specific cards that have synergy with the new leader abilities.
