Game developer Gunzilla will release a battle royale style third-person shooter in 2023. The game has a cyberpunk theme set in a dystopian future, according to the makers. District 9 director Neill Blomkamp, ​​among others, is involved in the game Off The Grid.

Off The Grid takes place according to the creators in a dystopian future. It is a battle royale game that can be played with 150 players at the same time. It is also possible to play a storyline where several players play in a map at the same time. Nothing is known about that story, but Gunzilla says that the choices players make directly affect the story of other players. Players can also create and trade items in the game.

Off The Grid is set to release in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. Developer Gunzilla Games consists of former employees of Crytek, Ubisoft and EA. The studio was founded last year and already announced that it was working on a new multiplayer shooter. Then the makers said to use the Unreal Engine for this, but the company is not writing anything about it now. Neill Blomkamp, ​​the director of sci-fi films District 9 and Elysium, works at Gunzilla Games.
