Gunfight mode CoD: Modern Warfare will get 1vs1 and 3vs3 option in the future

Infinity Ward wants to add 1vs1 and 3vs3 options to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Gunfight mode. Currently, Gunfight is a 2vs2 mode. It is not yet known when the new options will become available.

Joe Cecot, co-design director of multiplayer at developer Infinity Ward, indicates in a tweet that 1vs1 and 3vs3 are planned. He says that in response to a question about whether there will be a 3vs3 mode. He says the new modes will come to the game “at some point.” It is unclear when exactly that will happen.

Last week, Infinity Ward revealed details about the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare roadmap. It contains details about the free expansions that the game will receive. New maps will be available from Tuesday. For example, there will be new versions of Crash, Vacant, Shipment from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
