Guitar service Rocksmith+ will be released for PC on September 6

Ubisoft’s guitar game Rocksmith+ will be available on Tuesday. It is a service to learn to play the guitar. A subscription has to be taken out for this. Rocksmith+ will only be available on PC, although there will also be a mobile app for Android and iOS at a later date.

The publisher reports Which rocksmith+ will be available only through the Ubisoft Store on September 6. It is a subscription service that, according to Ubisoft, has “the largest catalog of official songs ever offered in a music learning service.” At release, there are over 5000 songs in all genres and, according to Ubisoft, new ones are added regularly. The publisher states that millions of new songs will be added through collaborations with music labels such as Sony and Universal.

The game offers “personalized real-time feedback” and multiple practice tools. It is not possible to add your own numbers and an online connection is always necessary. As with previous versions of the game, users can connect a real guitar via USB using a Real Tone cable. Instead, you can now also use the RockSmith+ Connect App can be used, whereby the microphone of the smartphone can be used to map the music skills.

Rocksmith+ is partly similar to the original 2011 game that came out for consoles then and a year after that for PC. An updated version followed in 2014. A subscription will cost 15 euros per month, 40 euros per three months or 100 euros for twelve months.
