Guerrilla Working on Horizon: Forbidden West for PlayStation 5
Guerrilla Games has announced a new entry in the Horizon series in the form of Horizon: Forbidden West. In the game, Aloy, the protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn, makes her appearance again.
In Horizon: Forbidden West, Aloy continues her adventures in the future America full of strange machines. The trailer shows, among other things, that she can go underwater and that she has to avoid dangers. In the final shot, San Francisco’s West Coast Golden Gate Bridge appears with plant-covered skyscrapers visible.
The game will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 5. Most of the games Sony announced at its PS5 event will be released in 2021, but for Horizon: Forbidden West, Guerrilla hasn’t mentioned a release date yet.
Horizon: Forbidden West is the successor to Horizon Zero Dawn, which was released for the PlayStation 4 in 2017 and received the expansion The Frozen Wilds later that year. Horizon Zero Dawn will be released for Windows in the summer.
