GTS 450 from Asus shows up including specifications

The GTS 450 from Asus would have been briefly on the website of a Bulgarian webshop. It is a copy that is equipped with Asus’ DirectCu cooler. The video card would have 192 Cuda cores, which are clocked at 783MHz.

The GTS 450 from Asus is equipped with the DirectCu cooler, which can also be found on the HD 5830 and the GTX 460 from Asus. The cooler has two 8mm thick heat pipes, which transfer the heat to the aluminum fins. On the GTX 460 the cooler performs quite well, so with the GTS 450 the cooler will have no trouble at all. The price of the GTS 450 from Asus is not yet known, but the expectation is that it will be around 145 euros excluding VAT.

The GTS 450 will probably be officially introduced by Nvidia in a few weeks. The specifications have been discussed until now, but according to the Bulgarian web store, the video card would have 192 Cuda cores, which are clocked at 783MHz. The GPU, codenamed GF106, would therefore have the highest clock speed of the entire GTX 400 series. The GPU is in contact with 1GB gddr5 memory, which is clocked at 3600MHz, via a 128-bit memory bus.
