GTA Online: Lowriders Releases October 20
Rockstar Games has announced that the free update GTA Online: Lowriders will be released on October 20 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The DLC, which includes new cars, missions and weapons, will not be coming to the previous generation consoles.
The update for GTA V is all about lowriders, the signature low-suspension cars and their subculture. GTA Online: Lowriders features a host of new vehicles, which can be customized to your liking at Benny’s Original Motor Works, a new custom shop located in downtown Strawberry. For example, cars can be equipped with hydraulic systems and subwoofers in the trunk.
The update also adds new Lamar missions and new weaponry will appear on Ammu-Nation’s shelves, including a fully automatic submachine gun and a machete. In addition, players of GTA: Online will have the option to buy a fourth real estate location, where cars can be parked. Finally, new colors, hairstyles and accessories are available to dress up the game characters.
On Tuesday, October 20, owners of GTA V on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will receive the DLC as an automatic update. Lowriders is not coming to Xbox 360 and PS3. In December 2014, Rockstar announced that there would be a point where the limits of the previous generation of consoles would be reached. Although the company said at the time it hoped to provide as many updates as possible on all consoles, support for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 now seems to have come to an end.
