GTA Online gets a new location and heist that can be played solo

GTA Online, the multiplayer variant of GTA V, will get an update next month. It is then possible for players to explore a new area with a new heist. This heist can be played solo, while normally in groups.

The new area added to the online version of GTA V is called Cayo Perico. According to Rockstar, it is a private island. The developer has put a short video online to introduce the new content, also announcing that the update for GTA Online will be released on December 15th.

Cayo Perico is an island guarded by an armed group, and the player can infiltrate the island into a new heist, the Cayo Perico heist, which players can play on their own. Previously, heists had to be done in groups.

GTA Online is the online version of GTA V. The game is still very popular, despite GTA V being released seven years ago. Rockstar regularly releases new content for the game.
