Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is out for PlayStation 3

There will be a PlayStation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is not known when the new version will appear exactly. A price is also unknown. Grand Theft Auto III was also released for the PS3 earlier this year.

This has Sony announced on the official PlayStation blog. However, a date is not mentioned on the blog, although the Asian site of the manufacturer knows report that it is December 12th. Nothing is known about a price yet. Although the game originally has a co-op mode, the PS3 version could be played by a maximum of one player, according to information on the Asian site.

That a PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas would appear is not entirely surprising. The website of the American Entertainment Software Rating Board leaked earlier this year that publisher Rockstar plans to release a PS3 version of the various GTA games.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas debuted in 2004. The game appeared for the PlayStation 2. Versions for PC and Xbox followed in mid-2005. A PlayStation 3 version of Grand Theft Auto III appeared in September.
