GoPro adds unlimited video storage to Plus plan
Action camera maker GoPro has added unlimited video storage to its Plus subscription service. With this, the company wants to attract more customers for GoPro Plus, which currently has around 185,000 users.

GoPro Plus already had unlimited storage for photos, but saving videos has been limited to 35GB until now. As of the end of January, that limitation will no longer apply, GoPro reports. The action camera maker wants to attract more customers for its Plus service. Videos are stored on the manufacturer’s servers with no restrictions in resolution or frame rate.
The unlimited storage will also be available to current customers. This will first take place in the United States and at a later date also in the Benelux. When that will happen is unknown. The Plus subscription also includes a service to get a replacement camera if the current one breaks, but that is currently limited to the United States. That service will be available in more countries later this year, but whether that will also be the case in the Benelux is unknown. GoPro Plus costs $5 a month.
