Google is said to be planning to release the two expected Nexus devices from LG and Huawei at the end of this month. The LG smartphone reportedly costs 400 dollars, converted 360 euros. A price of the Huawei device has not yet been mentioned.

That reports the usually reliable Android Authority. The site is relying on a source who would know more about the business, but can’t say for sure when the Nexus smartphones will be released. According to the reports, the devices will be available from Google on September 29.

LG’s Nexus, whose existence has been known for some time, will probably be called the Nexus 5X. However, according to the Android Authority, Google still has to make the final decision. That should, if the stated release date is correct, happen quickly.

LG would equip the Nexus 5X under the hood with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808-soc. In addition, the device has 3GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of storage memory. The battery would have a capacity of around 2700mAh. The 5X will also reportedly get a 5.2 “screen with 1080p resolution. According to the latest rumors, the device also offers a 12.3-megapixel camera and a USB type-c connection.

In addition to the Nexus from LG, Huawei also makes a device in the Google line. That smartphone is slightly larger with a 5.7″ or 5.5″ screen. A recently surfaced render shows that the phone at least has a metal housing and USB-C connector. More details are still missing.

Update, 10:10 PM – It was initially reported that the Huawei will have a Snapdragon 820 soc, but that is not possible, because the soc is not expected until next year. The message has therefore been amended.
