Google Stadia is getting more than a hundred new games this year
According to Google, more than a hundred new games will appear in the Stadia Store this year. In a blog, Google lists a number of games that will appear in the coming months. There are no major new titles.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition and Shantae: Risky’s Revenge – Director’s Cut will be released on Stadia on February 23. It came from space and ate our brains on March 2, followed by FIFA 21 on March 17, Kaze and the Wild Masks on March 26 and Judgment on April 23. Google also mentions the arrival of Killer Queen Black, Street Power Football and Hellpoint. FIFA 21 and Judgment are the biggest titles, but it was already announced that those games would come to Stadia.
By emphasizing the upcoming games, Google seems to want to indicate that the streaming service is still alive. At the beginning of this month, the company announced that it would stop developing games for Stadia. The Stadia Games & Entertainment locations previously set up will be closed. Google already indicated that Stadia will continue to exist as a platform for games from other developers and publishers.
According to Google, the games mentioned are just an example of the more than a hundred games that will be added to the Stadia Store this year. However, most of the upcoming titles are not yet known. It is already clear that several new Ubisoft games are coming to Stadia. These include Far Cry 6, Riders Republic and Hello Engineer.
