Google releases privacy guide for Chrome 100

In the coming weeks, Google will roll out a privacy guide for users of Chrome from version 100. Through this digital guide, users can step by step adjust the privacy settings of their browsers and find out what impact they have on the browsing experience.

A first version of the privacy guide will allow to adjust cookie settings, as well as synchronization for history, Safe Browsing and the setting to improve searches and browsing functionality.

Users will also learn what lies behind various settings and how turning them on or off affects the browsing experience. Depending on the feedback, there will be according to google later more settings can be added to the digital guide. The privacy guide will be rolled out to users of Chrome browser from version 100 in the coming weeks. The guide will be found in the settings menu, under the privacy and security tab.
