Google releases Chrome Remote Desktop for iOS

Google released Chrome Remote Desktop for iOS devices on Monday. It allows users to remotely control their Windows, Linux or OS X system. A version for Android has already appeared.

The free program for the iPad and iPhone appeared in the App Store on Monday. It works with iOS 7.0 and above. The application is also optimized for the iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, it can be read.

Chrome Remote Desktop is an extension for Google’s Chrome browser, but you can log in to it without the browser open. The extension must be installed on the Remote Desktop and can be accessed from another device using the Chrome extension or the application.

Last year, Google already released a version of Chrome Remote Desktop for Android. Similar services were already available for the mobile operating system, such as LogMein and Teamviewer.
