Google releases bundle of Chromecast Ultra and Stadia controller for 100 euros
Google has lowered the price of its Stadia Premiere Edition bundle. The bundle with Chromecast Ultra and the Stadia controller is now thirty euros cheaper, but Google no longer supplies code for Stadia Pro.
The new Stadia Premiere Edition bundle has replaced the bundle of the same name that previously cost 130 euros. That bundle previously also consisted of the combination of a Chromecast Ultra and a Stadia controller, but buyers received a code for three months of free Stadia Pro. That is the 10 euros per month subscription that gives access to a number of free games, higher resolutions and surround sound.
Since April, Google has been giving all new Stadia users two months of free Pro access. It is unknown how long that action will last. Previously, the Pro plan was free to try for a month. Google no longer sells a bundle with a code for Stadia Pro. However, it is still possible to buy the Stadia controller separately for 69 euros. A Chromecast Ultra is required to use Stadia on a TV.
