Google presents smart display Home Hub (video)

During the ‘Made by Google’ event, Tuesday, not only two new smartphones and a tablet were presented, but also the Google Home Hub. This is a smart display with a 7-inch touchscreen and a built-in speaker.

The Home Hub can be used for all kinds of things, such as operating your smart TV, thermostat, and lighting. The device can also immediately inform you in the morning about planned appointments, events and traffic jams as soon as you say “hey Google, good morning”. Several people can use the Hub and the Hub also provides personalized answers to questions.

The brightness of the display is automatically adjusted to the light in the environment. Somewhat striking is that the Hub has no built-in camera. This is mainly to prevent any concerns about privacy violation so that users can also put the Hub in the bathroom or bedroom, for example.

The Home Hub will be available from October 22 and will cost $ 149 in the United States.
