Google makes information Now available offline
Google has made the Now search and information system available offline. This means that information that has already been downloaded remains available as soon as the user loses his internet connection. The update will be rolled out first for Android.
The updates were published by Google in a post on the social networking site Google+. According to the internet giant, the update ensures that information retrieved via Google Now remains available if an internet connection is no longer available. The user can continue to use the Now app, indicating when the content was last refreshed.
According to Google, offline availability is in a new version of the search app that is being rolled out for Android immediately. It is unclear when the innovations will come to other operating systems: Google Now is also available for iOS and recently also for the Chrome browser on the desktop. Google Now recently received an update that remembers where the user has parked his car.
