Google Chrome users can place the URL bar at the bottom of the screen on iOS. Google calls it a ‘frequently requested feature’. The feature has been tested since August in the experimental Testflight build. It is not known if and when the feature will come to Android.

Users can move the URL bar by pressing and holding it, after which the option will appear to place it at the bottom or top of the screen. You can also move the URL bar in the settings menu. With the Safari browser, it has been possible to place the URL bar at the bottom of the screen on iOS for some time. Google already experimented with the address bar at the bottom of the screen on Android in 2016.
