Google Keep gets the possibility to make drawings on lockscreen
Google seems to be working on a new version of the note-taking software Keep, which should make it possible to make drawings from the lockscreen. It is therefore not necessary to unlock the smartphone first.
The new functionality has not yet been announced by Google itself, but directions for drawing drawings from the lockscreen have appeared in a new version of the application for Android. This is reported by XDA Developers, who searched the apk installation file. There are a number of code strings associated with the new functionality, discovered in version 5.20 of the app. For example, there is a string with the text “Create Keep drawings while your device is locked”.
XDA Developers also found code pointing to two new layouts. However, images of the interface to create drawings in Keep from the lockscreen are not there yet. However, it is already possible to do this in the version of Keep in Chrome OS. The introduction for Android therefore comes as no surprise.
