Google has made improvements to the Chrome password manager. This makes it possible to enter login details yourself on all platforms, to set suggested passwords and to see reports of hacked or weak passwords.

Google has also redesigned the Chrome password manager, bringing the user interface between the desktop version and the version on Android more closely aligned should be. The company also ensures that different login details from one and the same site are now automatically grouped so that they are easier to find. To give even faster access to the password manager, Google also introduced a shortcut to the password manager a few weeks ago that can be placed on the Android homepage.

From now on it will be possible to add login details yourself and to receive suggestions for strong passwords on all platforms where the Chrome password manager can be found. The company is also expanding its Password Checkup functionality to notify users of all platforms when a password has been hacked, weak or has been used before. Android users will soon be able to login to a website via Touch-to-Login. This is an overlay that appears on the screen with which you can log in with one touch of a button.
