Google introduces separate Memories tab and collages for Photos app
Google has released a new interface for the Photos app in the United States, including a separate tab for the existing Memories feature and an AI tool to generate names for albums. The update will be released worldwide in ‘the coming months’.

Under the new Memories tab, users can find the usual compilations of photos taken by the users, but also a new scrapbook collage put together by the application. Users can view collages composed by Google and adjust them if necessary, or put together such images themselves, like this writes Google.
Furthermore, Google makes it possible to invite other users to edit individual Memories. Others can then add photos and videos to the collage, for example. After a user shares a collage with someone, they can see it in their own Photos library.
Finally, according to the company, artificial intelligence should help come up with a title for photo albums and collages. In addition to the usual title bar, users can ask for help from the photo app. By the way, this is an experimental feature that the company is first making available to a small group of users. It is not clear when this feature will be released for everyone.
