Following the release of iOS 8, some popular apps have been updated. For example, Chrome for iOS now supports ‘app extensions’. Apps approved by Apple can thus be integrated into the browser, such as 1Password, Lastpass or Evernote. You can now also share content to third-party apps. Furthermore, Google has implemented bug fixes and stability should be improved.

Microsoft has also updated Skype for iOS for iOS 8. Thanks to extension support, Skype notifications now appear directly on the lock screen. Users can answer or reject video or phone calls directly from the lock screen or drop-down menu. In case of missed calls, you can immediately choose to call back or send a message.
