Google Drive starts sending emails as reminders for unopened files
Google Drive has started sending out emails as reminders that customers still have files that have been shared with them but haven't yet been viewed.
Google Drive Digest emails
Google calls it Drive Digest, reports Google. Customers only receive the emails if they have not logged in for seven days and if other users have shared files that they have not yet seen. It is a Workspace feature and it is unknown whether it will also be available for private accounts. The feature will be released in the coming weeks. The function can be turned off via Settings-Notifications, Google says.
