Google Calendar is unreachable – update
Google’s calendar service Calendar suffered a major outage on Thursday. The service has been offline for some time. Users who try to access their calendar will receive a message on the desktop that a server error has occurred.
Google began searching for the cause of the downtime at 3:47 PM. The problem arose before that time and has not yet been solved at the time of publication. If you try to reach the calendar service, you will see a page with the message of a server error, in various languages.
On its Status Dashboard, Google indicates that it is looking for the cause of the problem. It is not often that Google services are offline for so long due to disruptions. On Twitter, among others, users complain that they can’t use their calendars now.
Update, 17.40: The service is available again.
