Google brings Android 4.4.3 to Nexus devices
Google has released Android 4.4.3 KitKat. The minor operating system update is coming to Nexus devices initially and should fix some bugs and fix security vulnerabilities. The software hardly adds any new features.
For the time being, it concerns the factory images for Android 4.4.3, AndroidPolice noted. The ota updates are likely to follow in the coming days. The images for Nexus 5, Nexus 7 2013, Nexus 7 2012, Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 are available. Google still seems to be working on the update for the lte version of the Nexus 7 2013, which is not available at the time of writing.
The update has sizes from 440 to 465MB. The only visual adjustment for now seems to be a different appearance for the telephone function when calling contacts directly. The other changes also concern bug fixes and security adjustments. Google introduced Android 4.4 KitKat at the end of October last year.
