Google appears to have taken Earth View website offline

Google has taken the Earth View website offline. The satellite photo portal has been inaccessible since mid-January, according to 9to5Google readers. The Chrome extension still seems to work at the time of writing.

Google has not yet communicated anything about the status of the Earth View website. 9to5Google reports that the American tech giant will add 1,000 new satellite photos to the website in 2020 had added. Earth View’s images can also be seen as wallpapers on Chromecast devices.
